No Place Like Home - Mary Higgins Clark

Occasionally I get tired of all the love stories.  It seems like every book I read has a love story in it.  Most of them are cheesy or predictable story lines.  I have had a few of those lately so I decided a good Mary Higgins Clark book would get me out of the love stories.

This one was a good mystery. From the first few pages all the way to the end had me wondering what was the connection between all these things and who was behind it all.  Of course there was one particular guy whom I suspected to be behind all of it from the beginning, but just like all good mysteries, it is never the person you first suspect or maybe even hope it is.  I thought I had it figured out a few times, but the one outcome I had eliminated in my mind was the one that ended the book.  If you are in the mood for a good mystery, this is one of them.

  1. I really like Mary Higgins Clark (especially for the last name! just kidding, I liked her in high school) because they're goood mysteries and a little creepy but not too scary. I don't think I've read this one, though...
